ABOUT Me
Design is about making people feel something. Whether that’s intrigue, clarity, comfort, or surprise, my goal is to tell stories and create experiences that communicate an idea before a single word is read. The challenge of conveying as much as possible through composition, movement, color, and interaction excites me, and is what drives my work.
My background as an artist deeply informs how I approach design. I understand hierarchy, usability, performance, audience – but I’m not bound by them in a way that prevents personality and experimentation from being at the forefront of my work. My practice spans web and graphic design, UI/UX, animation, video, sound, fine arts, and 3D, which means I approach every project from multiple angles, and rarely stick to a single medium or tool. I experiment constantly, mixing techniques and jumping between software to find the solution that best expresses the desired intention. That flexibility allows me to blend the technical and the artistic in ways that feel fresh and intentional, whether I’m building a brand identity, designing an interface, or creating something entirely from scratch.
I value research, iteration, and collaboration. My experience teaching design and coding has made me a better communicator and problem-solver, and working across disciplines taught me that the best ideas often come from unconventional experiments. I approach every project with curiosity and a willingness to push past the obvious answer, always asking what could be better, bolder, or more unexpected.
